In Thursday's non-league match, the host Valley Union Blue Devils basketball team scored a tight 69-65 triumph over the Tombstone Yellow Jackets.

In their next game, the Blue Devils meet the Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind Sentinels (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 1. Valley Union will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Sentinels enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 47-29 non-league loss to Duncan (Duncan, AZ).
