Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Smithsburg Leopards (Smithsburg, MD), 28-15 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Mountain Ridge improves its record to 5-5 on the season. The Miners travel to Allegany (Cumberland, MD) to play the Campers in a non-league battle on Friday, November 14. The Campers go into the battle with a record of 5-5. Allegany won 49-19 in their recent non-league battle against Clear Spring (Clear Spring, MD)

The Leopards now have a 4-6 record.
