In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Parkland Matadors basketball team scored a good 29-15 triumph over the Austin Panthers.

The Matadors (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Mountain View (El Paso, TX). The Lobos go into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Mountain View was topped by Clint (Clint, TX), 36-33, in a non-league contest.
