The Parkland Matadors basketball squad (El Paso, TX), was nudged 34-32 in Friday's league battle with the host Del Valle Conquistadores (El Paso, TX)

With the victory, Del Valle advances its record to 7-13 on the year. The Conquistadores travel to Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM) to meet the Trojans in a non-league battle on Friday, December 27. The Trojans enter the battle with a record of 5-3. Mayfield won 56-46 in their recent non-league battle against Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM)
