November 9, 2023: Huntsville, AL 35801 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Huntsville Panthers (Huntsville, AL) and the visiting Austin Black Bears (Decatur, AL), saw Huntsville's basketball squad wallop Austin by a tally of 55-32.
With the victory, Huntsville improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Kate Duncan Smith DAR (Grant, AL) to confront the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 13. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Kate Duncan Smith DAR won 86-23 in their recent non-league challenge against Sand Rock (Leesburg, AL)
Next up, the Black Bears confront the Oak Mountain Eagles (Birmingham, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 11. Austin will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 69-59 non-league win over Oxford (Oxford, AL).
