Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the South Pontotoc Cougars (Pontotoc, MS) and the visiting Bruce Trojans (Bruce, MS), saw South Pontotoc's basketball squad wallop Bruce by a tally of 74-22.

With the victory, South Pontotoc improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to West Union (Myrtle, MS) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, November 11. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. West Union lost 63-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Ingomar (New Albany, MS)
