North Carolina High School Basketball - Lee County topples Western Harnett

In Thursday's non-league outing, the Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC) basketball squad beat the visiting Western Harnett Eagles (Lillington, NC), by a margin of 39-21.

The Yellow Jackets (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against Jordan-Matthews (Siler City, NC). The Jets go into the non-league outing with a 0-3 record.

The Eagles now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Harnett Central for a 3A/4A Conference 23 outing on Tuesday, December 6. Western Harnett will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 47-17 league loss to Westover (Fayetteville, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 0-4.
