In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) basketball squad beat the host Western Harnett Eagles (Lillington, NC), by a margin of 35-26.

The Vikings (3-7) will now prepare for their outing against Richmond (Rockingham, NC). The Raiders go into the 3A/4A Conference 24 outing with a 4-8 record. In their last outing, Richmond was topped by Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC), 54-34, in a league outing.
