Blacklick Valley Vikings (Nanty Glo, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Glendale Vikings (Flinton, PA), 68-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Blacklick Valley upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Conemaugh Valley (Johnstown, PA) to play the Blue Jays in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Blue Jays come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Conemaugh Valley won 77-52 in their recent non-league test against Harmony Area (Westover, PA)

The Vikings now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host DuBois Central Catholic for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 5. Glendale will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 67-54 non-league win over Clearfield (Clearfield, PA). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-0.
