Illini Central Cougars (Mason City, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Lewistown Indians (Lewistown, IL), 29-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Illini Central upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Cougars travel to Hartsburg-Emden (Hartsburg, IL) to clash with the Stags in a Tomahawk bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Stags go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Hartsburg-Emden won 69-60 in their recent non-league bout against Ramsey (Ramsey, IL)

Next up, the Indians clash with the West Prairie Cyclones (Sciota, IL) in a Prairieland bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Lewistown will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
