Ohio High School Basketball - Columbus Academy over Elgin
December 2, 2021: Gahanna, OH 43230 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Columbus Academy Vikings (Gahanna, OH) and the visiting Elgin Comets (Marion, OH), saw Columbus Academy's basketball team gain a win over Elgin by a tally of 51-38.
The Vikings now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Whitehall-Yearling for a Mid-State - Ohio battle on Saturday, December 4. Columbus Academy will battle a Rams team coming off a 54-45 non-league loss to Aiken (Cincinnati, OH). The Rams record now stands at 1-1.
The Comets (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Ridgedale (Morral, OH). The Rockets come into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Ridgedale dropped by Bucyrus (Bucyrus, OH), 59-53, in a league battle.
