The Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN) basketball felled the visiting Whiting Oilers (Whiting, IN), 56-45 in Friday's league test.

The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their test against North Newton (Morocco, IN). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, North Newton went down by Hebron (Hebron, IN), 42-28, in a non-league test.
