Idaho High School Basketball - Mackay overwhelmed by Watersprings
December 2, 2022: Idaho Falls, ID 83404 The Watersprings basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Mackay Miners to 27 in the league victory on Friday.
The now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sho-Ban for a 1A Rocky Mountain contest on Tuesday, December 6. Watersprings will battle a Chiefs team coming off a 40-38 non-league win over Gem State Adventist Academy (Caldwell, ID). The Chiefs record now stands at 1-1.
The Miners (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Castleford (Castleford, ID). The Wolves come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Castleford was routed by Camas County (Fairfield, ID), 61-43, in a non-league contest.
