Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Southeast Halifax Trojans (Halifax, NC) and the visiting Northwest Halifax Vikings (Littleton, NC), saw Southeast Halifax's basketball squad wallop Northwest Halifax by a tally of 60-39.

With the victory, Southeast Halifax improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to KIPP Pride (Gaston, NC) to confront the Pride in a 1A Conference 9 challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Pride go into the outing with a record of 1-1. KIPP Pride won 55-42 in their recent league outing against Warren County (Warrenton, NC)

The Vikings now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Roanoke Rapids for a non-league outing on Monday, December 5. Northwest Halifax will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 46-43 non-league loss to Northwest Halifax (Littleton, NC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-1.
