The Gresham Gophers basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Franklin Quakers to 51 in the Gophers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Gophers now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jefferson for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Gresham will battle a Democrats team coming off a 80-69 non-league win over Jesuit (Portland, OR). The Democrats record now stands at 1-0.
