December 28, 2023: Portland, OR 97206 The Franklin Quakers (Portland, OR) basketball felled the visiting Sandy Pioneers (Sandy, OR), 77-67 in Thursday's non-league contest.
The Quakers now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wells for a 6A Portland contest on Tuesday, January 2. Franklin will meet a Guardians team coming off a 53-45 non-league loss to Rodriguez (Fairfield, CA). The Guardians record now stands at 3-5.
The Pioneers (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against McMinnville (McMinnville, OR). The Grizzlies enter the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, McMinnville was outscored by Sheldon (Eugene, OR), 70-52, in a non-league contest.
