Oregon High School Basketball - McDaniel knocked off by Franklin
February 6, 2024: Portland, OR 97206 The Franklin Quakers basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting McDaniel Mountain Lions to 56 in the Quakers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Quakers now sport a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Benson Tech for a 6A Portland contest on Thursday, February 8. Franklin will battle a Techmen team coming off a 63-56 league win over Jefferson (Portland, OR). The Techmen record now stands at 6-11.
The Mountain Lions (1-19) will now prepare for their contest against Cleveland (Portland, OR). The Warriors enter the 6A Portland contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, Cleveland was defeated by Roosevelt (Portland, OR), 71-63, in a league contest.
