Utah High School Basketball - Monticello crushes Merit Preparatory Academy

Monticello Buckaroo (Monticello, UT) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Merit Preparatory Academy Knights (Springville, UT), 60-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Monticello upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Buckaroo host Montezuma-Cortez (Cortez, CO) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 6. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Montezuma-Cortez won 64-44 in their recent non-league bout against Estrella Foothills (Goodyear, AZ)

Next up, the Knights play the Waterford Ravens (Sandy, UT) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 4. Merit Preparatory Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Ravens go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 52-43 non-league loss to Beaver (Beaver, UT).
