The United South Panthers topped the visiting Bishop Badgers basketball team by a final score of 60-50 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Steele Knights (Cibolo, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, December 8. United South will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Knights come into the battle with a 12-6 record after their 53-38 non-league win over Austin (Austin, TX).

The Badgers (9-5) will now prepare for their battle against Jones (Beeville, TX). The Trojans come into the non-league battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Jones dropped by Davenport (San Antonio, TX), 51-44, in a non-league battle.
