Illinois High School Basketball - Berwyn/Cicero Morton winner over Argo
December 3, 2022: Cicero, IL 60804 The Berwyn/Cicero Morton Mustangs (Cicero, IL) basketball felled the visiting Argo Argonauts (Summit, IL), 65-54 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL). The Mustangs go into the West Suburban - Gold test with a 0-6 record. In their last bout, Downers Grove South was topped by Lyons (LaGrange, IL), 68-48, in a non-league bout.
Next up, the Argonauts clash with the Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves (Lansing, IL) in a South Suburban bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Argo will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Red Wolves go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 61-58 league win over Shepard (Palos Heights, IL).
