The Elko Indians basketball team scored 38 points and held the visiting Portola Tigers to 26 in the Indians non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Indians now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hug for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Elko will battle a Hawks team coming off a 59-26 non-league loss to Dayton (Dayton, NV). The Hawks record now stands at 0-2.
