The Ripley Vikings basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Philip Barbour Colts to 48 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Vikings now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Parkersburg for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 7. Ripley will meet a Big Reds team coming off a 59-50 non-league win over Mercer County (Harrodsburg, KY). The Big Reds record now stands at 1-0.

The Colts (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty (Clarksburg, WV). The Mountaineers enter the Big Ten contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Liberty ran past Hoover (Clendenin, WV), 44-35, in a non-league contest.
