The Lee County Yellow Jackets basketball team scored 75 points and limited the visiting Purnell Swett Rams to 63 in the Yellow Jackets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Yellow Jackets now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Union Pines for a 3A/4A Sandhills game on Friday, December 6. Lee County will confront a Vikings team coming off a 73-56 non-league win over Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Purnell Swett falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Rams travel to A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC) to confront the Wonders in a non-league game on Friday, December 6.
