Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC), 66-50 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Pinecrest upgrades its record to 6-3 on the year. The Patriots travel to Fairmont (Fairmont, NC) to face the Golden Tornadoes in a non-league match on Thursday, December 19. The Golden Tornadoes enter the match with a record of 5-2. Fairmont won 62-54 in their recent non-league match against Dillon (Dillon, SC)

The Rams now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dillon for a non-league match on Wednesday, December 18. Purnell Swett will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 62-54 non-league loss to Fairmont (Fairmont, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-5.
