In Thursday's league test, the South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC) basketball squad trounced the visiting Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC), by a score of 62-39.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) in a 3A/4A United 8 test, on Tuesday, January 14. South View will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Bears come into the test with a 5-7 record after their 76-43 league loss to Lumberton (Lumberton, NC).
