Pennsylvania High School Basketball - West Scranton can't hold off Honesdale
December 4, 2023: Honesdale, PA 18431 The Honesdale Hornets basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting West Scranton Invaders to 53 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Monday.
The Hornets now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carbondale Area for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Honesdale will battle a Chargers team coming off a 67-49 non-league win over Forest City (Forest City, PA). The Chargers record now stands at 2-0.
The Invaders (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Forest City (Forest City, PA). The Foresters enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Forest City was nipped by Carbondale Area (Carbondale, PA), 67-49, in a non-league match.
