In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Hemingford Bobcats basketball team scored a good 45-33 triumph over the Hyannis Longhorns.

The Bobcats (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Gordon-Rushville (Gordon, NE). The Mustangs go into the C2 District 12 contest with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Longhorns battle the Banner County Wildcats (Harrisburg, NE) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 5. Hyannis will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
