The Southaven Chargers basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting DeSoto Central Jaguars to 59 in the Chargers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Chargers now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oxford for a 7A Region 1 contest on Friday, December 8. Southaven will battle a Chargers team coming off a 73-54 non-league win over Lafayette (Oxford, MS). The Chargers record now stands at 7-4.
