Ocean Springs Greyhounds (Ocean Springs, MS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Hancock Hawks (Kiln, MS), 57-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ocean Springs upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Greyhounds host St. Martin (Ocean Springs, MS) to clash with the Yellow Jackets in a 7A Region 4 bout on Friday, December 8. The Yellow Jackets go into the bout with a record of 1-8. St. Martin won 40-36 in their recent non-league bout against Greene County (Leakesville, MS)
