The Johnson County Central Thunderbirds basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Southern Raiders to 38 in the Thunderbirds league triumph on Tuesday.

The Thunderbirds now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Syracuse for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Johnson County Central will battle a Rockets team coming off a 68-57 non-league loss to Fort Calhoun (Fort Calhoun, NE). The Rockets record now stands at 1-1.

The Raiders (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Tri County (DeWitt, NE). The Trojans enter the C2 District 1 contest with a 2-0 record.
