December 5, 2023: Mercer, PA 16137 The Wilmington Greyhounds basketball team (New Wilmington, PA), was overwhelmed 73-18 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Mercer Mustangs (Mercer, PA)
The Mustangs now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jamestown for a non-league battle on Friday, December 15. Mercer will battle a Muskies team coming off a 70-35 non-league loss to General McLane (Edinboro, PA). The Muskies record now stands at 0-2.
The Greyhounds (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against West Middlesex (West Middlesex, PA). The Big Reds come into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, West Middlesex was overwhelmed by Meadville (Meadville, PA), 94-26, in a non-league battle.
