Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Shenango Wildcats (New Castle, PA) and the host Union Area Scotties (New Castle, PA), saw Shenango's basketball squad hold off Union Area by a count of 66-59.

With the victory, Shenango upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Ellwood City (Ellwood City, PA) to play the Wolverine in a non-league challenge on Sunday, December 10. The Wolverine come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Ellwood City lost 95-82 in their recent non-league challenge against Ambridge (Ambridge, PA)

Next up, the Scotties play the Ellwood City Wolverine (Ellwood City, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 6. Union Area will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Wolverine come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 58-51 non-league loss to Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA).
