December 5, 2024: Concord, NC 28027 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Walnut Grove Christian Christian Warriors (Fort Mill, SC) and the host Covenant Classical Warriors (Concord, NC), observed Walnut Grove Christian's basketball team overwhelm Covenant Classical by a score of 69-44.
The Christian Warriors (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against UR Academy (Gastonia, NC). The Lions come into the CSAA challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, UR Academy trounced Cornerstone Christian Academy (Statesville, NC), 62-44, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Warriors encounter the Cornerstone Christian Academy Crusaders (Statesville, NC) in a CSAA challenge, on Friday, December 6. Covenant Classical will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 62-49 league loss to Victory Christian Academy (Gastonia, NC).
