Maryland High School Basketball - Sherwood fells Bethesda-Chevy Chase
December 6, 2022: Bethesda, MD 20814 Sherwood Warriors (Sandy Spring, MD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons (Bethesda, MD), 57-43 in a league bout.
With the win, Sherwood upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Warriors host Urbana (Ijamsville, MD) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 8. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Urbana won 67-52 in their recent league bout against Middletown (Middletown, MD)
Next up, the Barons clash with the Whitman Vikings (Bethesda, MD) in a Montgomery 4A South bout, on Friday, December 9. Bethesda-Chevy Chase will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 54-42 non-league win over Northwood (Silver Spring, MD).
