February 7, 2023: Sandy Spring, MD 20860 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Sherwood Warriors (Sandy Spring, MD) and the visiting Walter Johnson Wildcats (Bethesda, MD), saw Sherwood's basketball squad overcome Walter Johnson by a tally of 69-53.
With the victory, Sherwood improves its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Kennedy (Silver Spring, MD) to confront the Cavaliers in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 10. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 9-8. Kennedy lost 63-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Whitman (Bethesda, MD)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Richard Montgomery Rockets (Rockville, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 10. Walter Johnson will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 9-9 record after their 78-69 non-league loss to Damascus (Damascus, MD).
