January 24, 2023: Sandy Spring, MD 20860 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Sherwood Warriors (Sandy Spring, MD) and the visiting Poolesville Falcons (Poolesville, MD), saw Sherwood's basketball squad wallop Poolesville by a tally of 63-42.
With the victory, Sherwood improves its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Warriors host Whitman (Bethesda, MD) to confront the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 30. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 11-3.
Next up, the Falcons confront the Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles (Germantown, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 27. Poolesville will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Screamin' Eagles come into the challenge with a 8-7 record after their 55-45 non-league win over Kennedy (Silver Spring, MD).
