Maryland High School Basketball - Poolesville overwhelms Northwood
February 10, 2023: Silver Spring, MD 20901 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Poolesville Falcons (Poolesville, MD) and the host Northwood Gladiators (Silver Spring, MD), saw Poolesville's basketball squad wallop Northwood by a tally of 66-37.
With the victory, Poolesville improves its record to 9-11 on the campaign. The Falcons host Richard Montgomery (Rockville, MD) to play the Rockets in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 17. The Rockets come into the challenge with a record of 10-9.
Next up, the Gladiators play the Damascus Hornets (Damascus, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Northwood will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 20-0 record after their 75-41 non-league win over Paint Branch (Burtonsville, MD).
