Maryland High School Basketball - Clarksburg holds off Poolesville
December 9, 2022: Poolesville, MD 20837 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Clarksburg Coyotes (Clarksburg, MD) and the host Poolesville Falcons (Poolesville, MD), saw Clarksburg's basketball squad hold off Poolesville by a tally of 57-53.
With the victory, Clarksburg improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Coyotes host Frederick (Frederick, MD) to confront the Cadets in a CMC challenge on Wednesday, December 14. The Cadets come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Frederick won 71-43 in their recent non-league challenge against South Carroll (Sykesville, MD)
Next up, the Falcons confront the Damascus Hornets (Damascus, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Poolesville will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 53-44 non-league win over Wheaton (Silver Spring, MD).
