Maryland High School Basketball - Clarksburg tops Seneca Valley
December 16, 2022: Clarksburg, MD 21216 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Clarksburg Coyotes (Clarksburg, MD) and the visiting Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles (Germantown, MD), saw Clarksburg's basketball squad knock off Seneca Valley by a tally of 60-44.
With the victory, Clarksburg improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Coyotes travel to Northwest (Germantown, MD) to play the Jaguars in a Montgomery 4A West challenge on Monday, December 19. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Northwest lost 61-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Blake (Silver Spring, MD)
Next up, the Screamin' Eagles play the Quince Orchard Cougars (Gaithersburg, MD) in a Montgomery 4A West challenge, on Monday, December 19. Seneca Valley will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 67-48 league loss to Gaithersburg (Gaithersburg, MD).
