The McDowell Titans routed the visiting Tuscola Mountaineers basketball team by a final score of 88-60 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Titans face the R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 9. McDowell will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the game with a 4-2 record after their 70-66 non-league win over Burns (Lawndale, NC).
