Minnesota High School Basketball - Woodbury knocks off Duluth East
December 6, 2024: Woodbury, MN 55125 In Friday's non-league contest, the host Woodbury Royals basketball team scored a good 67-51 win over the Duluth East Greyhounds.
The Royals (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Irondale (New Brighton, MN). The Knights come into the AAAA Section 5 contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Irondale was topped by St. Thomas Academy (Mendota Heights, MN), 54-36, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Greyhounds battle the Stillwater Ponies (Stillwater, MN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 7. Duluth East will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Ponies come into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 69-62 non-league win over Hudson (Hudson, WI).
