December 6, 2024: McKinney, TX 75070 In Friday's non-league contest, the host Emerson Mavericks basketball team scored a close 67-63 triumph over the Hebron Hawks.
The Mavericks (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Van Alstyne (Van Alstyne, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 3-8 record. In their last match, Van Alstyne got by McGregor (McGregor, TX), 55-20, in a non-league match.
The Hawks now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Dallas for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. Hebron will face a Falcons squad coming off a 68-61 non-league loss to Richland (North Richland Hills, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 4-8.
