The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the SouthWest Edgecombe Cougars (Pinetops, NC) and the visiting North Lenoir Hawks (LaGrange, NC), observed SouthWest Edgecombe's basketball team overwhelm North Lenoir by a score of 65-25.

The Cougars (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Nash Central was routed by Beddingfield (Wilson, NC), 62-51, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hawks encounter the Ayden - Grifton Chargers (Ayden, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 16. North Lenoir will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record.
