December 7, 2023: Gillette, WY 82718 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Thunder Basin Bolts (Gillette, WY) and the visiting Rock Springs Tigers (Rock Springs, WY), saw Thunder Basin's basketball squad hold off Rock Springs by a tally of 51-50.
With the victory, Thunder Basin improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bolts travel to More (Rapid City, SD) to confront the Cavaliers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. More won 51-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Worland (Worland, WY)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, WY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 8. Rock Springs will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Bison come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 60-52 non-league loss to Scottsbluff (Scottsbluff, NE).
