In Friday's non-league outing, the Alta-Aurelia Warriors (Alta, IA) basketball squad beat the visiting Pocahontas Indians (Pocahontas, IA), by a margin of 72-59.

The Warriors (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against River Valley (Correctionville, IA). The Wolverines go into the non-league outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, River Valley defeated Ridge View (Holstein, IA), 64-48, in a league outing.
