December 8, 2023: Bemidji, MN 56601 The Detroit Lakes Lakers basketball team scored 88 points and held the host Bemidji Lumberjacks to 76 in the Lakers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Lakers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Barnesville for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 12.
With the defeat, Bemidji moves to 0-3 on the year. The Lumberjacks host Moorhead (Moorhead, MN) to meet the Spuds in a AAAA Section 8 match on Tuesday, December 12. The Spuds enter the match with a record of 0-2. Moorhead lost 93-71 in their recent non-league match against Fargo Davies (Fargo, ND)
