December 8, 2023: Cambridge, MN 55008 The Cambridge-Isanti Bluejackets (Cambridge, MN) basketball nipped the visiting Blaine Bengals (Blaine, MN), 77-74 in Friday's league test.
The Bluejackets (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Monticello (Monticello, MN). The Magic go into the AAA Section 5 test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Monticello was tipped by Delano (Delano, MN), 85-50, in a non-league test.
The Bengals now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Anoka for a AAAA Section 7 test on Monday, December 11. Blaine will encounter a Tornadoes squad coming off a 78-61 league win over Andover (Andover, MN). The Tornadoes record now stands at 2-0.
