The Calvert Senecas (Tiffin, OH) basketball felled the host Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains (Bascom, OH), 38-24 in Friday's league test.

The Senecas (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Margaretta (Castalia, OH). The Polar Bears go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Margaretta was beaten by Bellevue (Bellevue, OH), 46-43, in a non-league test.
