Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains (Bascom, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lakota Raiders (Kansas, OH), 62-21 in a league bout.

With the win, Hopewell-Loudon upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Chieftains travel to New Riegel (New Riegel, OH) to play the Blue Jackets in a Sandusky Bay - River bout on Saturday, December 16. The Blue Jackets go into the bout with a record of 3-0. New Riegel won 50-46 in their recent league bout against Gibsonburg (Gibsonburg, OH)
