West Virginia High School Basketball - Frankfort tops Mountain Ridge
December 8, 2023: Ridgeley, WV 26753 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Frankfort Falcons (Ridgeley, WV) and the visiting Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD), saw Frankfort's basketball squad knock off Mountain Ridge by a count of 55-43.
With the victory, Frankfort upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Southern (Oakland, MD) to play the Rams in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Southern won 58-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Francis Scott Key (Union Bridge, MD)
Next up, the Miners play the Keyser Golden Tornado (Keyser, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Mountain Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Golden Tornado come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 71-66 non-league loss to Washington (Charles Town, WV).
